We aim to send launch news no more than [TWICE A MONTH] before launch.
The exact consent wording
Waitlist form:
“Email me about GenetixBay's launch, Founding Member spots and Fund the Bay. I can unsubscribe at any time.”
Fund the Bay reservation form:
“Email me to confirm this reservation and about GenetixBay's launch. I understand nothing is charged until I confirm at checkout. I can unsubscribe from launch news at any time.”
Under each box we name the sender (GenetixBay, hello@genetixbay.com) and link our contact page, which has our mailing address. The box starts unticked. We keep the date and time you agreed. Your consent lasts until you withdraw it. [COUNSEL: whether the reservation form needs a separate, optional box for launch news, and whether the mailing address must appear on the form itself.]
Unsubscribing
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and supports your mail app's one-click unsubscribe button. One click on the confirmation page and you're off the list straight away, well within the 10 business days the law allows. You can also reply with “unsubscribe” or email hello@genetixbay.com.
After you unsubscribe we keep your address on a do-not-email list, so you're never added back by mistake. Reservation, account and security emails still reach you, because they're about something you asked for.
Who's sending
Every marketing email names the sender and includes our postal address and a way to reach us: [ENTITY NAME], [GB_POSTAL_ADDRESS], hello@genetixbay.com. Emails come from hello@genetixbay.com, or from noreply@genetixbay.com for automatic messages, with replies going to hello@genetixbay.com.
Referrals
Your share link is yours to post or send. GenetixBay never emails people you refer, and we don't ask for your contacts. If you send your link to a friend, please only send it to people you know who'd want it.
How email is delivered
Emails are sent through Resend and our own mail server. The privacy policy explains what each provider sees.
